I was wondering, how much money should we bring with us...approximately. Do we need enough to cover us for the month before we get paid at the end of the month? Also, is there a way to set up our italian accounts with our canadian accounts? or do we just send cheques home?

Yes, you will not be paid until the end of September, so bring some money with you. We are prepared to give you an advance on your September salary to get you through the month, but we won't advance a whole month's salary. You should probably have at least 600 or 700 euros in your pockets to tide you over. You will be wanting to purchase a cell phone, buy some apartment fixings at IKEA, etc. Do keep in mind that you can charge them to a Canadian credit card if you have credit!
